On May 29, 2011, it was announced that Ryeowook will be making his musical debut. He has been cast in the lead role of Jung Taesung in the jukebox musical Temptation of Wolves. The musical was initially reported to start on July 12, but it was later confirmed to run from July 14 to October 30. However, it was not until August 10 that Ryeowook performed for the first time.

Also cast in the musical were ZE:A’s Park Hyungsik, in the other male lead role of Ban Haewon, and soloist Lim Jeonghee, as the female protagonist Jung Hankyung. Lina from CSJH The Grace was also cast as Hankyung.

As with other musicals, three actors took turns to play the same role. So although Ryeowook and Hyungsik captured a lot of attention, they did not share the stage until the two Dream Days in September. The two days were initially September 22 and September 28, but the latter date was eventually changed to September 26.
